Let's recap!

I'm so sorry because not updating this blog for a long time. I'm quite busy this week with SGDs, clinics, study groups and some personal problems. It's really a hectic week. I guess I can update my lovely blog only in the weekends... So now, let's recap what happen in this 5th week of psychiatric posting.

MONDAY

I really forget what I did on Monday. Seriously! Am I having amnesia of recent memory? Uh-uh, I kind of remember that I when to Child n Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic, but was it on Monday? Help me, I really don't have any idea!!!

TUESDAY

This is the most hectic day of the week. I had 2 SGDs with Prof Osman. The first SGD started at 11 am n finished at 12.30 pm, so I hurried for lunch and Zohor prayer. At 2.30 pm I went for the second SGD. Before we started the SGD, we were invited to 'clean up' the leftovers from the lecturers' party held in the department that noon (I have no idea what party it was). We were so lucky because it was free food. Haha~ After the SGD (which ended at 4 pm), we were presenting our community group project proposal to Puan Loh. At night, I had usrah until 10.30 pm and then hurried to join the study group until 12 am. Oh my, I remember that I went to Child n Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic these morning before the SGD session.

WEDNESDAY

I had clinic with Dr. Tuti these morning but I was late because I went to settle my personal problem. When I went to the clinic, it was almost 11 am, n I only manage to see 2 patients. What to do~ Fortunately Dr. Tuti is very kind n understanding. In the evening, Azma, Bee Cheng n me went to TESCO Cheras to buy some stuff for our group community project. We met Farizal, Fazrul n Nash at the cashier and they gave us a lift to college. Can you imagine the car with 6 people? It's like a can of sardine!

THURSDAY

I had a meeting with Puan Hamidah Hasan, my SSM supervisor. She is the Head of Nursing Department. She is a very nice, kind n friendly lady. We had to do research on the topic "Mothers' commitment in breastfeeding". I hope that we can finished our research in a short time.

FRIDAY

The last n exciting day of the week. My SGD group went to Institut Masalah Pembelajaran & Autism Negara (IMPIAN) near Tasik Titiwangsa. The 14 of us went by 3 cars n we went to KTSN first to breakfast. We had some activities at IMPIAN such as senamrobik n colouring contest. The children are actually very smart, cute n a little cunning, only that they are slow learner. Apart from children with autism n ADHD, there is also children with Down's syndrome and Trisomy 21. Some of the children have OCD; there is a boy who keeps washing hands, n there is another boy who keeps taking baths for every 15 minutes. There is an autistic boy who is classified as highly functioning; he can read, write, count, speak n operate computer programs but he only lack in interpersonal skills. It was a very good n memorable experience to meet that children...

Actually today is my younger aunty's wedding day. I'm so sad because I can't join my whole family n relatives gathering at my grandma's house for the wedding. What to do~ Nevermind, next week I'll join them to the groom's house in Malacca. I'm looking forward to meet my parents. Really miss them!
