My First Homemade Sushi

Last time when my brother and I were at home, he made sushi. So this time around, I decided to make my own sushi. FYI, it is very easy…

Ingredients: (Serving for 4 people)

1 cup calrose rice (sushi rice)

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

4 slices nori (seaweed)

6 sticks crab filaments

2 eggs

Tuna mayonnaise

Sushi rolling mat

Methods:

1. Cook the calrose rice with 1 cup of water. After it is cooked, mix well with apple cider vinegar.

2. Fry the eggs with some salts so that it will become an omelet. Cut into long slices.

3. Cook the crab filaments in hot water for about 5 minutes. Take out and toss.

4. Put the nori on rolling mat and fill 2/3 of nori with rice.

5. Put the fillings (crab filaments and omelet) in the middle.

6. Start rolling the sushi with rolling mat and make sure it is properly rolled.

7. Cut the sushi into 8 parts. Make sure the knife is sharp enough.

8. Put tuna mayonnaise as topping.

9. Arrange in the plate and ready to eat.

See, very easy righto? You can also make avocado fruit and cucumber as the filling as well as salmon. It's up to your creativity. It is also nice to eat sushi with its sauce but I don’t know how to make it. Just dip it into salty soy sauce… Haha.

Happy trying!
